Tracheal Bifurcation Model
This anatomic model shows the tracheal bifurcation, i.e. the division of the trachea into the right and the left main bronchi. The tracheal bifurcation forms the distal end of the trachea.
The tracheal bifurcation model shows the following structures :
- right main bronchus (bronchus principalis dexter)
- left main bronchus (bronchus principalis sinister)
- bronchial mucosa
- bronchial muscles
- airway opening
